Mount Meru Overview
However, Mount Meru is an active (but dormant) volcano located north of Arusha National Park in Tanzania. At 4,562 meters, it is the second-highest mountain in Tanzania, only 70 km from Mount Kilimanjaro, and the fourth-highest mountain in Africa.
