You will take a flight from Dar es salaam to Nyerere National Park that will take approximately 2 hours. Nyerere National Park stands as the largest game reserve in Africa and the second largest conservation area in Africa. In this less crowded park, you stand a chance to see elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wild dogs, impalas and pride of lions and many other species. Dinner and overnight at Rufiji River Camp.

After breakfast, you will have a full day game drive in Nyerere National Park to explore the diverse wildlife which will begin with a walking safari accompanied by a ranger, then proceed with the game drive. After your late lunch, you will go for a sunset boat safari along Rufiji River with an awesome view of hippos, crocodiles basking and abundant birdlife. Dinner and overnight at Rufiji River Camp.

The next morning, you will take a flight from Nyerere National Park to Ruaha National Park that will take approximately 2 hours. Upon landing, you will have a short game drive in one of East Africa’s best-kept game-viewing secrets. The sheer volume and diversity of wildlife in Ruaha are sure to leave you surprised without forgetting the Riverine forests, Savannah, and rocky hills. In the afternoon, you will check in and have lunch at Ruaha River Lodge. After lunch, you will have a short rest then go for an evening short game drive and head back to Ruaha River Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After lunch, you will have a short rest then go for an evening game viewing with best sunlight for taking pictures as you enjoy the magnificent Ruaha sunset. In the evening you will return to Ruaha River Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
